Each year in support of Humane Society of the United States' National Animal
Shelter Appreciation Week, Reid's Pet Sitting, in conjunction with the National
Association of Professional Pet Sitters and the HSUS, conducts an annual
collection drive "Presents 4 Pets" (P4P) to benefit shelter pets and this year it will
be the week of:
Nov 1 - 7, 2010.
This nationwide program :
Assists in the well being of shelter animals
Helps support local shelters and the staff of care givers
Creates awareness of community shelters
Abandoned shelter pets need your help! You can provide for their safety and
comfort by donating:
Toys
Treats
Blankets
Towels
Food (canned & dry)
Rugs
Beds
Crates/Kennels
Dishes
Bleach (all cleaning supplies)
Leashes
Collars
Coupons
Newspapers
Please contact your friends, family & neighbors, ask them to participate by
donating the above items! Dogs AND cats need these items so remember to get
items for both.
Reid's Pet Sitting representatives will be happy to take your donations as you
gather them. Just leave them out and we will pick them out when we pet sit or call
and we'll come get them.
If you have space in your shed or garage to help store items, can help gather
donations, or other assistance as required, it would also be so very much
appreciated!
